Heynds uses OpenRouter to unify access to AI models and apply a consistent privacy policy on the provider side.
ZDR Endpoints only
Content sent to AI features is routed only to OpenRouter endpoints marked Zero Data Retention. This means prompts and generations are not retained by the endpoints used.

Is Heynds secure? Is my data collected?
Yes. Content sent to AI features is routed via OpenRouter only to Zero Data Retention (ZDR) endpoints. This significantly reduces content retention by the AI provider. Other data necessary for the operation of the site or service, such as analytics, email, payment, or support, may, however, be processed by separate subcontractors described in our Privacy Policy.
Where is my data stored when I use Heynds?
Content sent to AI features transits via OpenRouter and is limited to ZDR endpoints. Other service data, such as your email, certain payment data, analytics events, or support requests, follow their own processing flows. You will find details in our Privacy Policy.
Is my data encrypted by Heynds?
We use providers who implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures. For AI content, our main safeguard is primarily the limitation to OpenRouter ZDR endpoints, which reduces retention on the provider side. For contractual and technical details of each subcontractor, please consult their respective policies.
How much does Heynds cost?
For now, Heynds only offers the Explorer plan. You can also try it for free in your browser. Other plans are coming soon.
Is my data used to train models?
Not via the OpenRouter ZDR endpoints Heynds uses. The very purpose of Zero Data Retention is to prevent these endpoints from storing prompts and generations, thereby preventing their reuse for training on the endpoint side.
Is Heynds GDPR compliant?
Yes, the architecture was designed to be GDPR-friendly thanks to data minimization and the use of ZDR endpoints. However, no technical integration alone guarantees full legal compliance: it also depends on your usage, legal basis, and other services involved.
Why do you mention OpenRouter rather than a single model?
Because OpenRouter acts as a routing layer. This allows us to apply a strict policy on the provider used and limit Heynds to Zero Data Retention endpoints, instead of relying on a single isolated endpoint.
Can I cancel my Heynds subscription at any time?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time, directly according to the terms set during your subscription. Access remains active until the end of the paid period.
